All plans

What you'll learn

  • Accepting the agreement on first launch and choosing a display language
  • Activating your license and checking your plan
  • Setting your save folder

1First Launch & Terms of Service

The first time you launch StillSnap, an agreement screen appears showing the Terms of Service, StillSnap License Agreement, and Privacy Policy. Read through them, check the box, and click Agree to continue.

  • This screen appears only on first launch (and again whenever the terms are updated).
  • To review the terms later, go to More → Terms of Service from the menu.
Use this software at your own responsibility. Please comply with applicable copyright law and the terms of service of any sites or services you access.

2Display Language

StillSnap automatically matches your OS language on first launch. It displays in Japanese on Japanese-locale systems, and in English on all others (English, Korean, Chinese, etc.).

To change the language later, open the Language menu and select 日本語 / English. The change takes effect the next time you start the app.

3Plans & License Activation

StillSnap offers three plans: Starter (free), Pro, and Unlimited. After purchasing, enter the license key you receive to unlock the features of your plan.

How to activate

  1. Open Settings → License Settings from the menu.
  2. Enter the License Key from your purchase confirmation email.
  3. Click Activate License. Your plan name and expiration date will be displayed.

The License Settings screen also lets you manage registered devices (deregister this device or view others) and check your remaining AI refinement token balance.

Your current plan is shown in the status bar at the bottom-right of the main window as "Plan: Starter / Pro / Unlimited". Buttons labeled (Pro) or similar require that plan or higher.

4Setting the Save Folder

Captured images, ePub files, and PDFs are all saved to the save folder you specify. Set this before starting any capture session.

  1. Click Change... next to Save to: in the main window.
  2. Select a folder. The path is saved and will be remembered the next time you launch the app.
If no save folder is set, a prompt appears at the top of the screen. You cannot start capturing or use the Image Processing Tool until a save folder is configured.

5Next Steps

Once setup is complete, you're ready to start capturing. The next topic walks you through the basic workflow: selecting a Target Window, defining a capture area, starting a capture, and processing your images.
